Founded in 2005 by Ingrid Myers, a single Brooklyn mom of two, Winifred's 24 Hour Childcare carries the name and nurturing spirit of its founder's beloved grandmother. Born from the real need for truly reliable, family-like care, Winifred’s has been a beacon of support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year – because we know families thrive around the clock. We treat every child and parent as cherished kin, earning us our special nickname: the Winifriends.
Guided by our wise elephant mascot (symbolizing strength, memory, and family bonds!), we nurture bright futures. We weave early literacy and hands-on STEM exploration into joyful daily discovery, sparking the curiosity and critical thinking that have helped many of our graduates flourish in NYC's Gifted & Talented programs.
