Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Care Provider to join our team. As a Child Care Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe, stimulating and supportive environment where children can thrive. This position requires a strong passion for working with children, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing the highest standard of care.

Responsibilities:

1.  Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care at all times.

2.  Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs to stimulate children's development.

3.  Create a nurturing and inclusive environment where children feel safe, valued, and supported.

4.  Establish positive relationships with children and their families, fostering open communication and trust.

5.  Provide basic care tasks, including feeding, diapering, and assisting with hygiene routines.

6.  Maintain a clean and organized child care space, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for children.

7.  Observe and document children's behavior, progress, and development, and communicate any concerns to parents or guardians.

8.  Collaborate with parents, guardians, and other staff members to support each child's individual needs and goals.

9.  Adhere to all licensing regulations, safety protocols, and child care policies and procedures.

10. Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in child care.

Qualifications:

1.  Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework in early childhood education or child development preferred.

2.  Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting, preschool, or similar environment preferred.

3.  Certification in CPR and First Aid (or willingness to obtain certification).

4.  Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate activities.

5.  Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.

6.  Reliable and responsible, with a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development.

7.  Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to the needs of the children and the program.

8.  Must pass a background check and provide references.
