Job Description:
We seek warm, attentive, and experienced caregivers to join our team. Whether you’re passionate about late-night lullabies or daytime playgroups, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring children feel safe, loved, and engaged—no matter the hour.
Responsibilities:
Childcare & Daily Routines:
Supervise and interact with children through play-based learning, meals, naps, and activities.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment (toys sanitized, sleep areas cozy).
Follow individualized care plans (allergies, nap schedules, special needs).
Overnight-Specific Duties (If Applicable):
Create a calm, sleep-supportive atmosphere (dim lights, quiet activities).
Comfort children who wake overnight and document sleep patterns.
Assist with nighttime feedings/diaper changes for infants/toddlers.
Development & Emotional Support:
Foster social-emotional growth through positive reinforcement and conflict resolution.
Collaborate with therapists to support children with speech, motor, or behavioral goals.
Document daily milestones/concerns via our parent communication app.
Safety & Compliance:
Adhere to NYS licensing regulations (staff-to-child ratios, emergency drills).
Administer basic first aid/CPR if needed (training provided).
Qualifications:
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent; early childhood education (ECE) credits a plus.
1+ year experience in childcare (daycare, nannying, preschool, or babysitting).
Ability to lift 30 lbs (cribs, play equipment) and stay active.
Patience, adaptability, and a nurturing demeanor—kids’ big emotions don’t clock out!
